China Acrobats Association Delegation Participate in the Challengers' Live 2025 in Japan

  From October 23 to 26, 2025, Mr. Xiao Bing, a young magician from the Hangzhou Acrobatics Troupe, and Ms. Xu Yinqiu, official from International Liaison Office of China Acrobats Association (CAA), went to Kuki City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, to participate in the 2025 Japan Magic Challengers' Live. Mr.Li Ning,Vice President of CAA, and Mr. Tan Yongquan, Deputy Director-General of CAA Magic Art Committee, were invited to serve as judges for the competition.

  The Challengers' Live 2025 is organized by the Japan Close-up Magicians Association and is officially recognized by International Federation of Magic Societies(FISM) as a prestigious professional magic event. It serves as an important platforms for the exchange of young magical talent across East Asia. This year’s stage group competition brought together 13 outstanding magicians from China, Japan and South Korea.

  Representing China, Xiao Bing presented his act Card·Soul, which skillfully integrated elements of traditional Chinese face-changing art with contemporary magic techniques. Enhanced by his distinctive flying card skills, the performance demonstrated strong fundamentals in hand-painting techniques and created a spectacular and unpredictable effect. The act received an enthusiastic response from the audience. Following a rigorous evaluation by the judging panel, Xiao Bing was awarded the bronze medal.

  This visit marked the first official collaboration between the China Acrobats Association and the Japan Close-up Magicians Association. Throughout the event, the CAA delegation established positive communication with the Japanese association, international judges, and fellow magicians, laying a solid foundation for future exchanges in areas such as personnel visits, information sharing, and project cooperation. The Japanese hosts expressed strong interest in further strengthening ties with the CAA.
