2025-08-07

From March 31st to April 4th, “New Platform for International Dialogue on Magic Art”, China’s first international magic workshop and the first magic workshop hosted by FISM around the world, took place in Shenzhen. The workshop was jointly sponsored by China Acrobats Association(CAA), FISM, and the Magic Art Committee of CAA, organized by Guangdong Acrobats Association and Shenzhen Jieli World Culture Development Co., Ltd.

The workshop aims to cultivate high-quality, versatile magicians with both Chinese characteristics and an international vision, injecting new vitality into global magic development.

Coming after the successful co-hosting of the FISM Asian Magic Convention 2024 in Shenzhen last September, this International Magic Advanced Workshop marks a new milestone in the comprehensive partnership between FISM and the CAA.

At the opening ceremony, LU Hang, Deputy Secretary-General of CAA, Andrea Baionii, International President of FISM, and LI Ning, Vice-President of CAA and Director-General of the Magic Art Committee of CAA, signed the “Comprehensive Partnership Agreement” on behalf of the three organizers, which signifies a significant advancement in tripartite cooperation.

LU Hang highlighted the workshop's goals: to foster Sino-foreign magic exchange and mutual understanding, enhance the global competitiveness of Chinese magic, and promote the prosperity of magic art worldwide. He expressed hope that this initiative would deepen cooperation between Chinese and international magic communities, establishing magic as a vibrant medium for global cultural dialogue.
