From June 17 to 21, the "Great Wall Cup" China International Circus Arts Week took place at Wuqiao Acrobatics World, Hebei. Nearly 200 acrobats from 11 countries took part in the event.Guided by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the event is co-hosted by the China Acrobats Association and local authorities.

　　Launched in 2012, the "Great Wall Cup" is a key international exchange brand for Chinese acrobatics. Its online showcase debuted in 2022, attracting more than 1,400 entries from over 50 countries and regions.

　　The performances feature Golden Chrysanthemum Award-winning Chinese acrobatic works and top prize-winning foreign circus acts.

　　As 2026 marks the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges, Tanzania’s Hakuna Matata Circus was specially invited. Their classic Collective Tube Balancing has won the Gold Medal at Paris’s Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, as well as the Bronze Clown at the 48th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival.
