The 19th China Wuqiao International Circus Festival

  The 19th edition of the China Wuqiao International Circus Festival took place from October 20th to 30th in Hebei Province, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the Hebei Provincial People’s Government. The festival was meticulously organized by the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Cangzhou Municipal People’s Government. Notably, the closing ceremony was hosted in Wuqiao County for the first time, a place celebrated as the “Hometown of Acrobatics.”

  Regarded as a one of the world’s leading circus events, the China Wuqiao International Circus Festival stands as the most historical, largest, and most prestigious state-level cultural and competition festival in the circus domain. It is recognized as one of the top three circus competitions globally, earning the title of the “Oriental Circus Arena” for its distinguished reputation.

  This year, the festival showcased exceptional performances from 22 countries and regions. The final awards included 3 gold, 5 silver, 7 bronze, 2 honorary, and 10 outstanding program prizes. Highlighting the progression and innovation in circus arts, several of these award-winning acts were featured at the closing ceremony, captivating attendees with the dynamic evolution of circus performance.”
